As all should be well aware of, as of now, August 18, 2010 is well on it's way. Some people are dreading this day morbidly and others are welcoming it with arms wide open and a loud shout of," IT'S ABOUT TIME!"
If you don't know, on August 18th, gay and lesbian marriages will be legalized in the state of California.
What do you think?
Is it wrong for gay and lesbians to get married?
And if so, why?
Do you think it's okay for them to get married?
Why?
Two prominent arguments: 1) Our rights! We've all heard it before: "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

2) Our religious and moral views!  Genesis 18-24: "And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
20) And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

 22And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

 23And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

 24Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. 

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the Light, No man cometh to the Father, but by me."
